Just like with users and enrollments, Buzz allows you to bulk import courses using a CSV.
A sample CSV can be found at the bottom of this article. Note: It does not contain a Course IDs. You can find the base course ID for a course you are subscribed to by going to your Admin App and clicking on the Subscription tab. The course IDs listed for each course are the Base Course ID.
1. On your Courses page, click on the 3 vertical dots in the top right:
This will open up a menu with the options for IMPORT, BULK UPDATE, DELETE, RESTORE:
- Import: Import courses via a CSV or manually
- Bulk Update: Change the status of multiple courses at once
- Delete: Delete courses
- Restore: Displays a list of deleted courses and allows you to restore them
2. Click on Import
3. In the Import pop up click below the line that states Choose a tab-delimited or comma-separated file, or paste your import data here
4. Enter the necessary information and then click Next in the bottom right
5. The details of the import and courses will be listed, as well as any potential errors. Once you have fixed the CSV for any flagged errors, click Import in the bottom right
6. The final screen will confirm the details of the bulk import. Click Done
You should now see all your courses listed on the Courses page
NOTE:
You can use the above steps to create child copies easily from your master courses within your domain. If you are looking to update all your masters with fresh copies from our catalog, please reach out to [email protected], provide a list of the courses you require, and we can send you the course IDs needed.
